I love having a tripod! I can finally take cool night-time shots. This was a fifteen-second exposure featuring a full moon and the Port Hills, from a road near my house. It was rather windy, hence the blurry grass.

Tripods are awesome. I got a monopod, too. I took lots of shots of fast action - sports or bands. Sometimes a monopod gave me just enough stability while still giving me some mobility. Or maybe I just like photography toys.
